Meteorologists are urging 疯客直播 Feans to prepare for a major winter storm that is set to impact Central and Northern New Mexico starting Wednesday night 鈥� and could bring high wind gusts and potentially large snow totals to the region through Friday.

Power outages and road closures are likely during that period, including along Interstate 25 between 疯客直播 Fe and the Colorado border, according to a Tuesday briefing from the National Weather Service.

鈥淏e prepared for travel impacts. If people haven鈥檛 already started preparing, tonight and early tomorrow is the time to get anything prepared you may need in case there are any power outages,鈥� said Carter Greulich, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, in an interview Tuesday.
